About Us
Who We AreGreyhound Performance is the online division of Greyhound Auto Parts. We are warehouse distributors located in South Florida and have been selling performance exhaust products and catalytic converters for over 21 years.
Our Philosophy
Our objective is to supply our customers with quality products at a fair price. Being consumers ourselves, we have focused much of our effort into creating a comfortable buying experience. This includes excellent customer service, fast shipping times and generous return policies. The products we sell are tried and true; we do not experiment with our customers. To date, we have a 99.9% positive feedback based on over ten thousand internet sales.
The best way to explain how we feel about the products we sell is to quote a sign found on the wall of a Feed & Grain store in rural America. “Quality is like oats. If you want nice fresh oats you must pay a fair price. However, if you can be satisfied with oats that have already been though the horse, they come a little cheaper.”
Ex-Racing Greyhounds
If you are wondering how we named our company, it was not because of a bus: A friend of ours introduced us to ex-racing greyhound rescue and we became so taken by these graceful speed demons that we re-named our company in their behalf. When we are not involved selling auto parts we enjoy promoting the adoption of ex-racing retired greyhounds.
Meet the Greyhounds behind Greyhound Performance:
Jesse is one of our two retired racing greyhounds that currently grace our home and office. He was retired at 4 and adopted by us 3 months later. A more loving 45 mph couch potato couldn’t be found.
Matthew is our other retired racing greyhound who helps to keep us actively involved in greyhound adoptions. If you would like more information about greyhound adoptions view the elite greyhound website where Matthew came from.
This is Polo. We adopted him at the age of three when he retired from racing due to a broken leg. This sleek, aerodynamic 4 legged speed demon was the inspiration for our company name, as well as our love of the breed. Although we do receive many phone calls from people trying to buy bus tickets, that is why we named our company Greyhound Performance! Polo is now gone, but Jesse & Matthew are the current CEO’s.
